CityBrand were asked to produce design concepts for a sculpture that would
represent BAE Systems importance and commitment to the City of Preston. The solution had to embody their leadership qualities of innovation, design and technology within the competitive global aerospace industry. Geographically positioned between their two sites of Warton and Salmsbury adjacent to the
M6 motorway, it would be seen by thousands of passers-by everyday and would quickly become another icon to represent Preston.
